Gucci goes bohemian for the latest Pre-Fall 2019 campaign, with the ruins of the temples of Selinunte Archeological Park in Sicily as the backdrop as part of the ongoing juxtaposition between old world historical sites, and the modern. This Greek city was founded in the second half of the 7th Century BC, this site features 9 temples on an acropolis, and three outside the walls on the eastern hill including the Temple of Hera, which can be seen in the distance.

Traditionally known as a site that was home to pagan culture, Creative Director Alessandro Michele has created a contemporary version of a symposium, where friends and lovers meet to discuss philosophy, politics, poetry, play music and sport, and dance.
