Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele once again looks to the House’s archives, for the latest line of Blondie handbags. Taking inspiration from its distinctive silhouette that’s structured and boxy, yet at the same time curved at the edges which makes it saddle-like in style. It also comes with the rounded interlocking G emblem front and centre, reminiscent of those seen in patent documents from 1971.

Making its debut in Gucci’s Love Parade fashion show in Los Angeles, the Gucci Blondie comes in an array of sizes and silhouettes, including a messenger style which can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody with the Web or leather straps, a smaller, elongated day-to-night variation with a chain strap which converts into a clutch by tucking the strap into the bag, as well as a miniature and more squarish version, with interchangeable adjustable leather and Web straps. All of these aforementioned styles come in leather, suede, GG canvas, in several colourways, and are available at Gucci boutiques globally, and at Pavilion KL, Suria KLCC, and The Gardens Mall.
