Lanvin Printed Python Canvas Tote
I know that this isn’t exactly a new arrival in stores, and I’ve contemplated writing a post on this bag for some time now. Whenever I come across this Lanvin tote when I scour the internet for more delicious bags of the season, I’m always faced with the “angel-devil on my shoulder” situation. Ok well, perhaps “angel-devil” isn’t really accurate in this sense, but I’m sure you all know what I’m talking about… I’m talking about that little voice that whispers to me “blog this” and the other will say “don’t blog this!” and yes it’s a duel of the voices, and so far the “don’t” voice has always won.
I, once again, came across this python printed canvas tote by Lanvin again today, and I figured that since it has caught my eye so many times, then it’s definitely something worth blogging about.
By now, those of you who are followers of my blog will know that I am not a fan of the emblazoning of the logo/brand on the bag because the person toting it is just too much of an attention seeker because it just screams “look at me! look at my bag!”. But somehow, against the printed python on canvas in the background with the grosgrain ribbon “L-A-N-V-I-N” splashed across (or rather, sewn across the bag in this sense) the tote, I find this funky and youthful, instead of tacky. However, the downside to it is that canvas it may be, but at €410.83, it surely ain’t what you’d call affordable either. Available at Luisa via Roma
