Watches Wednesday: Zenith Chronomaster Sport
Zenith has unveiled the latest Chronomaster Sport: an automatic chronograph with a sporty aesthetic, which is a combination of the spirit of the El Primero A386, and the form of the Chronomaster De Luca. Powered by the new El Primero 3600 calibre, this 41mm timepiece is equipped with an unbelievably precise chronograph of right up to 1/10th of a second, is etched directly onto the black ceramic bezel within the steel case, and finished off with a matching integrated steel bracelet and pump-style pushers.
With a power reserve of over 60 hours, the Chronomaster Sport comes in either a black or white dial, with its signature El Primero tri-colour chronograph registers in blue, anthracite and light grey, reminiscent of the vintage A386 model from 1969. If you ain’t a fan of steel bracelets, and would want an even sportier vibe, you could opt for the textured cordura-effect rubber strap with a steel deployment buckle.
Apart from tourbillons, we also love chronographs because we’re massive fans of the sporty vibes. Colour-wise, the black dial is definitely our fave because it blends much more seamlessly with the black ceramic bezel, thus appearing sleeker on the wrist, not to mention, the silver chronograph register perfectly juxtaposed against the black. Now, what say you?
