Watches Wednesday: Tudor’s Heritage Black Bay Chronograph

Tudor‘s renowned Heritage Black Bay family has a new addition: the chronograph. The Heritage Black Bay Chrono is a marriage of both the professional diving watch (this collection has a 60 year history), and the chronograph, often closely associated with their motorsports watches.

The 41mm timepiece comes with the snowflake hands (the Maison’s signature since 1969), a self-winding movement, Chronograph Calibre MT5813 with a 70-hour power reserve, column wheel, and vertical clutch. No matter whether you opt for the brushed steel  bracelet strap, or the brown leather strap with folding clasp, each watch also comes with a second denim-styled strap made of woven jacquard.

Regarded as the brand’s Star Timepiece of 2017, the watch also won the Petit Aiguille (translation: “small needle”) Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneva. Oh, and did I also mention that David Beckham is also the face of the Heritage Black Bay Chrono?
