Since 2012, Piaget has been releasing commemorative Limited Edition Altiplano watches for the Lunar New Year, and this year is no exception. To commemorate the upcoming Year of the Ox which begins 12 February 2021, the ultra-thin Altiplano features a grand-feu cloisonné enamel dial created by renowned master-enamelled Anita Porchet. This 38mm timepiece comes with an 18-karat white gold case with 78 brilliant-cut diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.71 ct, and fitted with the 430P hand-wound movement that’s just 2.1mm thick, it is finished off with a black leather strap with an 18k white gold pin buckle that matches the case.

Both the Year of the Ox and this timepiece, is definitely timely (hehe, see what we did there?) because we all need a bullish year and the motivation to bulldoze (yes, I said that!) our way right into 2021 given these unprecedented times in which we now live. Let’s charge ahead with determination and try to make this an even better year for us all!
