Watches Wednesday: Memento Fendi Bugs
Fendi‘s Bugs have been a favourite ever since its launch. First making their appearance as charms, these street style worthy critters then crawled their way to invade handbags, men’s leather goods, accessories, and even Ready-to-Wear. Now, with the introduction of the Memento Fendi Bugs timepieces, you can even wear them on your wrist!
The Memento Fendi Bugs comes in a new, 26mm sizes, featuring a black stainless steel case, that comes either with a black leather strap, or bracelet, with everything entirely in black. Both versions come with a black lacquered dial, ,with black-coloured applied Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock and indices. Of course, the main design feature of this watch is definitely those eyes: yellow luminescent eyes with 2 white diamonds for its pupils on the bracelet strap version, and eyes set with 22 diamonds and a single black diamond each for its pupils on the leather strap variation.
Oh and the FF logo on the minute hand that you see right there? Yep, the same one that you’d see on the clasp of the iconic Baguette bags? Well this only appears when it aligns with the seconds hand. What a great surprise element this is, don’t you think?
