Watches Wednesday: Cartier Announces Pasha de Cartier Ambassadors

This year, Cartier brings back its Pasha watch, which was first introduced in 1985, in a big way. Keeping to its original “square in a circle” design with oversized Arabic numerals, the 2020 (re)edition features a new screw-down cap attached to the case by a small chain, under which your initials may be engraved.

To kick off this endeavour, the Maison has brought together a community of talents, comprising actor  Rami Malek, artists Troye Sivan and Willow Smith, English actress Maisie Williams, and Chinese singer Jackson Wang, as ambassadors of this timepiece.

Since its creation in the 1980s, the Pasha watch has embodied a certain idea of success directly linked to its extroverted design, power, and graphic nonconformism. It is as edgy as ever and in tune with today’s new multidisciplinary talents and generosity. ~ Arnaud Carrez, International Marketing and Communications Director, Cartier International ~

The Pasha de Cartier (available in 35mm or 41mm in steel, vibrant diamond set, and skeleton movement versions) has launched in China earlier this month, and will make its global debut on September 4th.
