Watches Wednesday: Bell & Ross BR05 Skeleton Limited Edition

Bell & Ross has unveiled the new Limited Edition BR05 Skeleton as part of the latest BR05 collection.  Ya’ll known that I’m a huge fan of skeleton watches, and this is no exception.

The BR05 keeps to the brand’s signature “round in a square” shape, and comes with an integrated case with a satin finish  with polished links.

This integration of the case and bracelet is not only in line with the brand’s visual identity, it also brings another dimension to the watch: the first link forms part of the case. This type of design harks back to the Seventies, and when transposed to Bell & Ross, it creates a result with a graphic style which is both striking and modern ~ Bruno Belamich, co-founder and creative director of Bell & Ross ~

Designed with comfort in mind, the arc of the curve ensures that it sits perfectly on the wearer’s wrist. The 40mm BR05 Skeleton Limited Edition timepiece is powered by the BR-CAL.322 calibre. Though essentially considered a “men’s watch”, it’s super unisex – in fact, most men’s watches are. Personally, I always opt for men’s timepieces over women’s because I loved them oversized. Limited to just 500 pieces globally, it’s available in either a satin polished steel bracelet, or a black rubber strap. For a limited edition, not to mention a skeleton watch equipped with an automatic mechanical movement, I’d say MYR 29,000 is a pretty decent price, don’t you think?  Major wrist crush right here.
