Bell & Ross’s New Vintage V2- 92 & 94 Aeronavale Timepieces

Welcome to another edition of Watches Wednesday! From the image of the timepiece against the Naval uniform above, you’d probably already would have guessed that Bell & Ross‘s latest additions to the V2 – Aeronvale Collection is a tribute to Naval Airforce Officers.

The brand has, since its very beginnings, placed particular importance on the history and the values of the military, and prided itself on creating and designing precise aeronautical instruments. Since this is the collection, the collection emulates the same blue and gold combo reminiscent of the symbols and motifs you see in Naval uniforms, above.

Two versions are available: a chronograph (BR V2-94), and a three hands (BR V2-92). Both come  sleeker and flatter 41mm case, a screwed-down crown, and a rotating steel bezel. Choose between either  a blue calfskin strap, or a polished and satin-finished steel bracelet for a more rugged vibe. These watches are now available in select Bell & Ross boutiques nationwide, and are priced between MYR 13,000 to 20,700.

BR V2-94 Chronograph

You probably didn’t know this about me, but like my accessories, I like my watches to be chunky. In fact, most of the time, I prefer unisex and men’s watches over dainty ladies watches and I usually prefer watch between 40 to 42mm. In this case, I’d opt for the chronograph version because for some reason, there are 2 types of watches I’d definitely pick over any other kind: skeletonised (why oh why are they so expensive!) and those with additional dials within the main watch face. So no surprises here, I’d definitely go for the chronograph, but with the leather strap 😉
