Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver
Last year, Audemars Piguet launched a sportier, more youthful, version of the iconic Royal Oak, the Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph in happy, pop dial colours. At SIHH (Salon Internationale de Haute Horlogerie) this year, the brand debuted the non-chronograph version in an assortment of citrusy hues – lime green, acid yellow, bright orange – along with matching rubber straps to boot, as well as an additional blue rubber strap, for you to switch things up at will. And because these are such bold colours, they are considered Funky Colour editions, which is, y’know, totally ME, heh and something I’d definitely wear 😉
These Funky Colour babies are encased in 42mm stainless steel, water-resistant up to 300m, and comes with a rotating inner bezel diving scale and zone from 60 to 15 minutes. Also, because it can get really dark underwater, there “Mega Tapisserie” dial also has luminescent coating on all of the white gold hands. Fashionable, and functional at the same time. How often do these come together in one package?
