Christmas Gift Guide: SLG & AccessoriesEdition

Since this is the last weekend before Christmas, this is your last chance to shop for those Christmas gifts for your friends and loved ones. I’m sure most of you are scurrying around for the perfect gift as I write this post. If you have run out of gift ideas, I present to you Stylicious Fashionista’s Christmas Gift Guide, the Small Leather Goods (SLG) edition. And you’re going to love it even more because I’m featuring affordable gifts that won’t break the bank or burn a whole in your wallet.

Gift idea #1: the striking and bold Kate Spade “Keyboard” Laptop sleeve. This instantly reminded me of the “Typewriter Bag”. Made of neoprene (that’s the material wetsuits are made of) this laptop case fits a 15″ laptop and retails for just $60 via Kate Spade Online and selected Kate Spade stores.

Gift idea # 2: Leather monogram embossed zip-around card case by GucciThis gift idea came about because my card case is sort of old after 2 years of use, and needed to be replaced. So while browsing online for a new potential card case I came across this, and loved it instantly. Yes, I’m not a big Gucci fan, but while most card cases (like Prada, Fendi and Chanel) are rather flat with just 2 card slots and one main compartment for you to squeeze and slip your cards in, this Gucci one has 3 card compartments that open up in accordion style once unzipped, and thus, more roomy. Also available in black, and in GG jacquard if you’re not a fan of leather. Retails for $170 via Gucci Online and selected Gucci boutiques.

Gift idea #3: Juicy Couture “Sugar Kiss” Laptop CaseSo with this gift idea, you’re probably thinking, “why is there another laptop case?” Well, that’s because it was just too sweet to pass up! While I like the quirkiness of the Kate Spade “Keyboard” Laptop sleeve above, I love the flirtatious vibe this exudes! Retails for $78 via Juicy Couture

Gift idea #4: Proenza Schouler PS1 wallets

This is probably my most favourite out of all the gift ideas I’ve featured today. It’s no secret that Proenza Schouler (dare I say) single-handedly started the whole satchel trend with the PS1, and then came the Mulberry Alexa, which is responsible for turning Mulberry around with the profits they were raking in from the bag. After this, the satchel trend was in full swing as others followed (Chanel also jumps on the satchel bandwagon, but that will be left for another post). Anyway, the leather PS1 wallets are to die for! Especially the ones in Green and Pink – I think my heart stopped when I saw that one!! Retails for a very affordable $165 via Proenza Schouler .

Perhaps the only thing I dislike is that “made in Italy” is embossed on the front under “Proenza Schouler”. Things like these should be on the interior of the wallet…
