Toosday Shoesday: Salvatore Ferragamo’s Let’s Dance Capsule

With dance as the concept behind Salvatore Ferragamo’s Let’s Dance Capsule, it’s only fitting that the campaign film by celebrated 2019 Cannes Film Festival director Danielle Lessovitz depicts 3 contemporary dancers (Anita Lorusso, Naomi Weijand and Tania Dimbelolo) doing what they do best, capturing them in various dance poses that showcase the shoes in motion, thus attesting to their comfort, and danceability. Not only are they super comfortable to dance the night away in, they’re also light as air!

Ferragamo Lets Dance Capsule Ballet Flats with Square Logo Detail

Salvatore Ferragamo Lets Dance Capsule Metallic Silver Nappa Leather Boots

The collection comprises styles: ballet flats with a metal buckle and logo; an ultra-soft, lightweight lace-up pair of oxfords crafted from nappa leather with elastic inserts at the back that’s typical of dance shoes for flexibility; a Gancini moccasin in the same style; a sandal with refracted high heel inspired from an archival model, and upper in tiny geometrically woven strips of leather that also come with a lower heel and fine ankle strap; a chunky heel and laser-cut upper; and a soft boot in nappa with a refracted block heel. Colourways for this Let’s Dance Capsule include colours such as black, sunshine yellow, lipstick red, orange with dégradé effect, micro-rhinestone detail for that little bit of glitz and glamour, and in metallics such as gold and silver.
