Toosday Shoesday: Prada’s Lightning Bolt Pumps and Sandals
Most of us are familiar with Prada‘s flame heel, which the House also resurrected from the archives last year. Then, came those with car tail lights on the back of the heels. Now, the brand is back with yet another statement heel, in the form of a lightning bolt (think: David Bowie) that’s equal parts rocker chick, and whimsical, from their runway collection.
For something more feminine, opt for the lightning bolt pumps, which is a little more subdued, and a little less obvious. And, since it’s made of satin, it’s a little more feminine, not to mention dressier. The pumps are available in black with a red heel, baby pink, with a silver heel, or if you’re looking to inject some eccentricity to your outfit, there’s also a version in royal purple with a neon yellow lightning bolt heel.
But, if you’re after something with a bit more attitude, perhaps the suede ankle strap version with a block heel would be a better option. With lightning bolts flying off the back of the shoe, you’d certainly be more electrifying (heh, see what I did there? :P).
