Toosday Shoesday: FENDI’s Colibri Slingbacks
Femininity meets sporty luxe in FENDI‘s latest Colibri slingbacks from the Spring/Summer 18 runway collection. Who knew pointy-toed slingbacks with mesh detailing and sporty elements would actually go so well together? Inspired by “futuristic geometric designs”, this canvas toe-capped beauty comes with a padded back, hiking hardware, and ankle straps that wouldn’t look out of place on any sports sandals, especially that of the Teva variety.
What makes it elegant and sexy despite its athleisure vibes, is definitely that see-through mesh. The colour way featured above is my fave combo, but if you find this a little too dark for your liking, it also comes in a tartan mesh in yellow or blue, and with an embellished back strap. Oh, and since most of you prefer heels over flats, this style also comes in 2 other heel heights. Note: if you’re in KL and would like to get yourself a pair of these, they’re very low in stock. I popped over to the boutique last week because I wanted to snag this particular pair right here, but alas, they didn’t have my size thanks to my huge feet (I’m a size 40).
