Toosday Shoesday: Dior Homme B01 Sneaker

You’ve seen Dior Homme‘s “on trend” B21 Sneaker  which basically capitalises on one of the biggest trends of 2017, that of the “seamless sock-sneaker” that creates the illusion that you’re wearing high-tops. Today, I introduce you to the iconic B01 Sneaker, which the Maison has resuscitated, for Spring 2018. In comparison to the B21, this B01 sneaker is more streamlined, and possibly what you’d expect a “classic” sneaker to be. What differentiates this from other sneakers, is its details, particularly the lightly quilted tongue, suede toe cap, and a contrast heel panel. Yet, to keep it more relevant and in line with the current house codes, is the embossed Christian Dior bee, a perforated stripe, and the new lightweight Italian rubber composite “memory” sole.

The sneakers were pre-launched this month, during the Sole DXB Dubai Event with Limited Editions in Black and Red, along with the Limited Edition Dior Homme BMX bicycle. If you’re not a fan of the limited edition colours, the B01 sneaker is also available in navy blue, forest green, black, red, and white – all of which will be dropping in Dior Homme boutiques in January 2018.
