I know, I know, I did say that I would feature other types of shoes for Toosday Shoesday instead of writing mostly about sneakers. Buuuut, I’m sure this is one piece of news that you’d all appreciate, especially all Alexander Wang x adidas Originals fans out there, and yep, I know there are a lot of you who have been anticipating this new collection 😉 Well, the wait is over! After 2 successful seasons collaborating with Adidas, Wang is back with a third season — the first drop just landed online and in select stores globally, over the weekend.

This first drop offers a new AW (that’s Alexander Wang, and not Autumn/Winter, as we fashion folks have become accustomed to, lol) Bball Soccer shoe. If you’re like me, at this point you’re probably scratching your heads going “wait…huh? bball soccer? so which is it … basketball or soccer, because how can it be both?” Thanks to Alexander Wang, it totally can! By fusing one of the iconic adidas football shoe uppers, atop a BOOST midsole. Available either in black or red suede at $250 a pair, these kicks feature the signature adidas Three Stripes, along with an inverted “adidas” on its tongue.
