Well, nothing beats personalisation, I’d say because it’s tailor-made to your own specifications and needs, and well, the chances of someone having the exact same item, is something that is almost impossible. Hmm, okay, perhaps it may be possible if you had a twin whom you never knew existed.

Prada has launched the latest Made-to-Order Microsole, allowing you to customise your very own pair of sought-after women’s brogues resurrected from the Spring/Summer 2011 archives. From 13th to 16th May this exclusive bespoke service is available at Prada’s Pavilion boutique. During this this time, you can choose from an array of 29 different colour combinations for the uppers, and 6 colour outsoles in 2 heights (either 30mm or 65mm). A variety of leathers of both the regular calfskin and exotic variety will also be available. To top it off, you also get to have your own initials imprinted onto your brogues. Your personalised pair will be ready in approximately 90 days.
