BAA x Melissa for Fall/Winter 15 StarWalker Collection
You’ve probably already seen Part One of my Melissa Shoes collaboration last month, where I styled the Alexandre Herchcovitch brogues in 3 different ways. For this second part of my Melissa shoes collaboration, I chose something more feminine instead: the “Seduce XII” because I love bows, and I love the way the diamond-shaped metallic gold motif pops against the nude. And since this would be considered a more girly type of flat, I paired it with satiny culottes instead of with a skirt or dress because it’s less boring and slightly more unconventional worn this way, hence the OOTD-styled approach! 😉
And now, here we are at my favourite spot in the park, not only because it has a cozy corner if you want to be a bench warmer, but also because of the bi-coloured arc motif thanks to the stones. Oh, and let me tell you, it was super hard to even get into this pose and stand there for a couple of seconds before my photog shot it because this section of the park is actually meant for reflexology (hence the stones) so it was super hard balancing on them with shoes on! But, despite this, I have to say that if there’s one thing I can say about Melissa shoes (and not just because this is a collaboration with the brand) is that after wearing them for most of the time for these 2 months, they’re super comfy, and even for the Alexandre Herchcovitch brogues you saw in Part One, they’re surprisingly breathable – something I really didn’t expect!
Ah and to end this post on a Fall-ish note since it’s part of Melissa’s FW15 StarWalker collection, here they are, with autumn leaves, which my photographer, her assistant, and myself actually had to gather leaves into a pile to make a bed of fallen leaves for this shot!
