Longchamp Launches Green District: An Eco-Friendly Collection

A new eco-friendly line, Green District, has just dropped in Longchamp boutiques globally. The unisex collection, comprising backpacks, belt bags, and the iconic Le Pliage, is made from ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon yarn, made from oceanic waste produced by Italian company Aquafil – a company that is no stranger to luxury brands, having partnered with Prada on its Renylon line, as well as Gucci’s Off the Grid collection.

For Longchamp’s Green District debut, you’d find a combination of the regenerated nylon yarn in several colours, paired with carefully selected pieces of leather, as well as a revisited tartan print made up of blue, dark blue, white, black, grey, and a hint of lime.

From this month onwards, Green District will be available in Longchamp boutiques globally.
