I’m seriously loving the Fall/Winter 17 Capsule Collections that Jonathan Anderson is churning out for Loewe. Last week, I featured the Lollipops Collection which was more fun, and unisex. This Street Journal Collection, comprising bags, and sweaters in either navy or tan, though, is perhaps designed with men in mind.

Just by looking at the design, it’s quite obvious that the collection was inspired by broadsheet newspapers. I’m not sure how you might interpret it, but for me, I thought it was quite a tongue-in-cheek approach because the first thing that comes to mind when I saw “The Loewe Street Journal”, is the Wall Street Journal. And personally, the accompanying text below that, “It Brings You Business, From Everywhere to Anywhere, Complete-Accurate-Daily” also suggests this WSJ reference. What do YOU think?
