Gucci Tropical Capsule Collection
Following the success of the Gucci Blooms (first in pink, then in blue) and Gucci Tian Capsule Collection, Creative Director Alessandro Michele has created yet another capsule collection, the Gucci Tropical. What’s different this time around though, is that there isn’t a GG web monogram in sight! Instead, the Gucci Tropical features a Tropical forest print, with birds flitting around against a backdrop of lush foliage on textured leather.
This capsule collection, as shown above consists of items for both men and women. But that’s not all! The other items for men include the Foster Key case (RM1,750), Foster card case (RM1,250), a messenger bag (RM 6,220), Business case (RM 8,520) belt (RM 2,310), and some shoes. For women, there’s also the Dionysus wallet (RM 5,530) and some Ready-to-Wear pieces in this Tropical print.
My favourites in this collection are the Dionysus shoulder bag, and the men’s pouch, which, to be honest, has a rather unisex appeal, and I definitely wouldn’t mind getting that too! Out of all the three capsule collections so far though, I still love the pink blooms the best, and the espadrilles which I wanted to get in that print, aren’t in my size! Pfft. It’s a pain to have big feet sometimes, especially in Asia.
