The Gucci winds seem to be blowing in the direction of maxi travel-esque bags for Men this Spring/Summer 2012. The shapes seem to reference smaller scale versions of leather trunks and suitcases, with details such as buckles and handles that Frida Giannini revives from the Gucci archives. The colour palette seems to be mainly monochromatic, with a flash of red. Stripes also feature prominently in this collection, and the choice of materials include leather (rawhide), exotic skins and canvas with leather details for the new Diamante Ice line of bags (pic #2 above).

Stylicious Fashionista recommends the first 3 bags above for day use. The rest of the bags are too luggage-esque and is quite impractical for day use, but perfect for travel.
