Bottega Veneta has introduced a new tote as part of the Wardrobe 01 Collection. Known as The Tote, we first saw this on the runway as part of the men’s collection, and for good reason too, because it’s super oversized. Its silhouette is a slouchier take on traditionally more structured tote bag styles, with a distinctive “V” on the front, as well as adjustable straps on each side, making them not just versatile, but also expandable, too! Oh, and if you’re wondering if it’s some kind of exotic skin because it kinda looks like some sort of scales, but not quite, that’s because it’s made of unlined rubber intrecciato – yep you read that right, so nope, it isn’t any sort of exotic skin, embossed or otherwise. And because it’s so roomy, it also comes with a detachable rubber pouch for you to stash your valuables so that they don’t get ‘lost’ inside the bag, along with the other contents you have in there. 😉
