The Van Cleef & Arpels Sweet Alhambra jewellery watch has always been a favourite of mine, because it really is like its namesake – sweet, as well as elegant. I have dubbed October the month of the guilloché because last week, we have just seen the Limited Edition Holiday 2020 pendant in 18 karat white gold guilloché and today, we are introducing another new addition to the guilloché family. Yep, 18 karat rose gold guilloché makes its debut at Van Cleef & Arpels in the form of this feminine Sweet Alhambra Jewellery Watch with alternating pink mother-of-pearl motifs. In fact, this is not just the first time that the Maison is introducing guilloché in rose gold, but also the very first time that the Maison is using this unique pairing to create an exquisite timepiece that’s so girly and feminine that there’s no other way to describe it other than “pretty in pink!”, and romanticism personified! Oh, and it’s super sparkly too, as we all already know by now how dazzling and tantalising Van Cleef’s guilloché can be with its sunray-esque engraving  when it catches the light from every angle, as we saw with the original version in yellow gold, which was first introduced in 2018.
