Van Cleef & Arpels Introduces New Additions to the Perlée Collection

The Van Cleef & Arpels Perlée Collection is all about beaded details. Drawing inspiration from the Maison’s historic past, golden beads first appeared as early as the 1920s, and have been ever-present as design elements ever since. They’ve become such a significant part of VCA’s DNA that they’ve been included as part of the iconic Alhambra collection, which features micro-beads framing the lucky clover.  The Perlée family was officially introduced as a collection on its own in 2008, and has, over the years, expanded to include Perlée Pearls of Gold, Perlée Coleurs, Perlée Diamonds, Perlée Clovers, and Perlée signature. This year’s latest additions include several rings, pendants, earrings, and for the first time ever, a long necklace.

Van Cleef & Arpels Perlee Collection Long Necklace

One of the highlights of this year’s additions, is this long necklace in 18-karat yellow gold made up of 3 totally beaded concentric circles on a yellow gold chain. And here’s the surprise factor:  the central ring can actually be removed, and replaced with either turquoise, coral, or onyx beads to mix and match with your outfit!

Van Cleef & Arels Perlee Collection Cabochon Pendant

Also new to the Perlée couleurs collection are jewellery sets in malachite (on yellow gold), carnelian (on rose gold), and turquoise (on white gold) cabochons encased with micro-beaded details. Each jewellery set comprises a pair of earrings, pendant, and a ring. They’re so dainty, they’re perfect for stacking and layering. Wear them with others from this collection, or even mix and match with your own jewellery. Or, if you prefer simplicity and elegance, wear it on its own, or as a matching set.

These Perlée rings with D to F colour round brilliant-cut diamonds with IF to VVS clarity,  sandwiched between gold, white gold, or rose gold bead join the Perlée Diamonds collection. Wear them stacked or on its own, or even as a complimentary ring to your cocktail rings. Oh, and if you’re getting married, these would make a really classy wedding band, don’t you think?

My favourite, would definitely have to be these rings, hands down!
