Just like clockwork, Van Cleef & Arpels has dropped their latest Limited Edition Vintage Alhambra Pendant for 2020 for the Holiday season. For first time ever, the Alhambra comes in white gold guilloché – an engraving technique commonly used on watch dials that results in lines reminiscent of the sun’s rays, and on jewellery, this ensures maximum shine as they glitter and sparkle with every flick of the wrist as they catch the light from every angle.

Though this is the first time the Maison is offering the guilloché in white gold, it isn’t the first time that this technique is used in their jewellery collection. The guilloché made its debut in yellow gold in 2018 as part of the Alhambra collection, and then again in the latest collection that made its debut this month (October 2020), in rose gold as part of the Sweet Alhambra collection (stay tuned for more about this in the next few weeks!).

As with all of Van Cleef’s annual Holiday Collection Limited Edition Alhambra pendants, it not only comes with a diamond at the centre of the motif, but also can be personalised with a special message, date, name, or initials, which would be engraved at the back of the pendant, truly making it a “forever piece”.
