Dior‘s adds 8 new unique timepieces to the Grand Soir collection. Inspired by a fairytale garden, each piece from the collection creates the illusion of a flower blooming under the protective glass of the watch face. Each watch is decorated with precious stones, diamonds, mother-of-pearl, opals, and can only be achieved with the delicate fine jewellery techniques of the craftsmen.

I’ve picked this one, called the Grand Soir Botanic No. 6, because it’s my favourite from the entire collection!  This 36mm ladies watch with quartz movement, incorporates white and pink gold, diamonds, tapered baguette-cut emeralds, yellow and pink sapphires, rubies,  Paraiba-type tourmalines, and tsavorite garnets. And I don’t even mind the navy blue mesh-textured fabric because the watch would be OTT with any other type of strap, plus, this way, the focus can be on the dial and the bezel itself – as it should!
