Louis Vuitton For UNICEF 2018 #MakeAPromise Fluo Bracelets
Louis Vuitton continues its philanthropic efforts with UNICEF with the third consecutive year. The partnership began in 2016, with the #MAKEAPROMISE campaign to raise awareness and funds to help children exposed to wars, conflict, diseases, natural disasters, violence, and other such similar circumstances that endanger their safety and wellbeing. Since then, the Louis Vuitton for UNICEF partnership has raised over $2.5 million in humanitarian support for children in Syria and Nigeria.
Inspired by the concept of a child making a “pinky promise”, this is Vuitton’s promise of their corporate social responsibility efforts in aid of children in need. As for the padlock, or “Lockit”, inspired by Georges Vuitton’s unpick able tumbler lock, is a symbol of protection.

All are available for purchase via Louis Vuitton
In its inaugural year, we saw the debut of a specially designed Lockit necklace and bracelet in sterling silver. For the 2017 edition, the sterling silver Lockit came on satin cord bracelets in five different colours: black, yellow, blue, pink, and pastel purple. This year, Vuitton introduces the flouro versions of these satin cord bracelets, in bright neon pink, orange, and yellow.
So, the question that’s on your mind now is probably, “how would I be helping a child by purchasing these bracelets?” Louis Vuitton will donate $100 for the silver Lockit colour silk cord bracelets, and $200 for the inaugural Silver Lockit necklace and bracelet, which are still available for purchase at Vuitton boutiques globally.
