Event Post: Hermès “Studies in Silver” Exhibit

A day before the Hermès “Sound of Silver” exhibit opened its doors to the public, the Maison welcomed all members of the media and their VIP customers for a preview. Located on the upper level Hermès’s duplex flagship at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the back of the store showcased the Maison’s iconic silver jewellery, each nestled in their own showcase. But this wasn’t just any ordinary glass cubicle. Almost all of the pieces had their very own in-built LCD panel where Pierre Hardy’s sketches came to life (see pics below)!

First up, and a personal favourite, the Chaines d’Ancre collection featuring the Maison’s signature Chandon rings that are interlocked to form a chain.

The Galop collection’s distinctive feature is the horse head detail, which is pays homage to Hermès’s Horseriding heritage.
