Back when I was in high school, friendship bracelets were all the rage. For someone like myself, who isn’t crafty, I, too, succumbed to the friendship bracelet craze, and ran on over to the haberdashery store to get my hands on skeins of coloured threads, and instruction manuals on how to create these multicoloured bracelets in different patterns.  Dare I say, I managed to do them quite well, and they looked very decent, but I wasn’t quite as talented as a friend of mine, who was able to make us these bracelets with our names on them. In fact, I think I might still have it stashed away somewhere, because I’m a hoarder when it comes to mementos and such, heh. Needless to say, when I first saw Dior’s latest woven bracelets in pastel colours with the embroidered “Christian Dior “J’Adior” inscribed on them on the models’ wrists during the Cruise 2018 runway show, it certainly evoked nostalgic memories for me.
