H&M has been collborating for designers for a while now – Roberto Cavalli and Jimmy Choo are just 2 of them. This time around, the PR reps at H&M kept the whole fashion world guessing by releasing 2 videos of a faceless “mystery” designer whom they are to collaborate with this Winter, even going to the extent of tweaking the voice of the designer and making him sound like a woman, and a very flamboyantly dressed one (think even more outrageous than stylist Patricia Field herself) as depicted in one of the videos.

If the PR reps at H&M were trying to create hype and a media frenzy, they certainly succeeded. Days leading up to the “unveiling”, the fashion glitterati basically narrowed it down to 2 designers – Tomas Maier of Bottega Veneta, and Alber Elbaz of Lanvin.

And Elbaz it was, as H&M revealed to us (in a video) yesterday…

The Lanvin for H&M collection will be in stores November 20th in USA and Canada, and November 23rd at other H&M stores worldwide.

There will be 15 accessories for women and some for the men too!!
