Versace’s “Super-Family” 40th Anniversary SS18 Ad Campaign

For Versace‘s Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show in September last year, Donatella Versace brought back model army that her brother, Gianni Versace turned into supermodels (or the “supers”, as they’re commonly referred to. And guess what? She does the same for the House’s 40th Anniversary ad campaign, joined by the siblings’ favourite photographers for their “super-family” tribute. Shot by Steven Meisel,  the supers – Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Gisele, Raquel Zimmerman, and Irina Shayk – alongside the new generation of reigning supermodels, including Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and Grace Elizabeth. The models are all dressed in Gianni’s favourite Barocco prints in black and gold, which have been crafted with antique silk printing techniques to ensure the vibrancy of the print’s colours.
