Salvatore Ferragamo’s Silk Capsule Collection for Summer this year features a cornucopia of iconic elements such as felines, flowers, shoes, butterflies, elephants, and sultans, resulting in an Oriental and flora dreamscape of sorts. Oh, and if you’re wondering why the Maison is focusing specifically on silk, that’s because silks, standing for the typical Italian decorative style, have been deeply ingrained as an important part of Ferragamo’s brand DNA since the 1960s.

The Capsule, comprising accessories, leather goods, scarves, and Ready-to-Wear, are embellished with these dreamy prints, which are intentionally embellished with small imperfections that are typical of freehand drawings and sketches, from the Milanese archives. In this capsule, you’d find foulards, stoles, bandeaux and a headscarf with leather visor and scarves, a new Viva shoe in a ruffled version, as well as chunky-heeled sandals, flats and sneakers with these very same silk prints, and for handbags, the new icon, the Boxyz, and the Studio Bag, form the standouts of the collection.

The collection is now available in Ferragamo boutiques globally. The Boxyz bag certainly gets our vote. What about yours?
