On Friday 17 June, Mulberry launched “Mulberry: The Book” to commemorate their 40th Anniversary this year. This book launch was held at their KLCC store between 12pm-6pm where customers could browse the book (and buy it as well!) while enjoying a glass of champagne and a slice of cake at the boutique. It wasn’t a closed-door invitation only event, and the public was more than welcome.

Stylicious Fashionista was there much earlier, before the event had begun at 12. Well, I didn’t stay on as I had to attend Chanel’s media tour of their relocated store (see yesterday’s post below) at 11:30am, and after which, had to rush off due to work commitments.

“The Book” took 3 years to put together, and takes us through the journey of Mulberry’s past 2 years in images. It’s page after page of glossy photographs shot by renowned photographer Venetia Dearden. It features a behind-the-scenes look at the Mulberry factory in Somerset, event, shops and fashion show photos, shots of celebrities like Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo and many others, as well as Mulberry’s creative director, Emma Hill.

The book is available at Mulberry boutiques in KL, and retails for RM300
