The Museum of Modern Art’s (MoMA) PS1 affiliate in Long Island City, Queens, New York will hold a two-day exhibition called MOVE! during the final weekend of October (Oct 30-31). MOVE! is the result of a collaboration between designers and artists – Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler and Diane von Furstenberg are amongst some of the designers whose works will be featured at the exhibition.

MOVE! is organised by V magazine’s Cecilia Dean and style journalist David Colman and is said to be “the merge [of] the worlds of fashion, dance, visual art, performance art, and theatre to create a new genre of performance-based installations … featuring 12 collaborations by world-renowned artists paired with fashion designers at this famed 125,000 sq ft exhibition space. MOVE! will culminate in PS1’s first-ever Halloween party, hosted by Visionaire” (V magazine Online)
