Miu Miu is back with yet another chapter of their Women’s Tales short films series, that celebrates contemporary female filmmakers. Directed by Celia Rowlson-Hall, who has worked as a choreographer for the HBO series Girls starring Lena Dunham, as well as Alicia Keys’s music videos,  this edition of Women’s Tales, entitled (The [End)of History Illusion] is a takes us through the unraveling of the characters in the film, because they are no longer able to sustain the Hollywood musical illusion.

The inspiration from this film came from having discovered a massive 15,000 square feet underground bunker in Las Vegas, made to look like a family home to disguise the nuclear war happening in the world outside :

” I wanted to explore commercialism in the face of fear, creating a spectacle to distract and entertain, an escape from our present day reality … When I saw the new Miu Liu Collection, there was something about the textiles and colours that made me want to create characters which could come with this space”
