Inspiration Dior: An Exhibit at the Pushkin Museum, Moscow, April 28 – July 24 2011

Maison Dior and the Pushkin Museum in Moscow present the exhibition titled “Inspiration Dior” which will run from April 28th to July 24th 2011.

This exhibit will showcase the avenues through which the House of Dior has been inspired by, where Art plays a major role behind the designs. Art and fashion have been intertwined in more ways than one with Dior and this Inspiration Dior exhibit at Moscow’s Pushkin Museum places the design and the Art piece beside each other and it is through this juxtaposition that makes obvious the inspirations and synergies behind the designs. The works of artists like Picasso, Matisse, Gaugin, Renoir and Cezanne also serve as muses of sorts, and therefore features prominently in this exhibit.
