Chanel’s Paris-Rome Métiers d’Art 2016 Show

Karl Lagerfeld took to Rome’s Cinecittà film studios for the 2016 Métiers d’Art collection. As per usual, the show set was yet another extravagant recreation, and this time, it was that of a Parisian street, complete with a Metro station, sidewalk “cafes” and the whole shebang, flanking the tarmac streets.

The show began with the models emerging from the stairs of the underground Metro station in this completely monochromatic, dimly lit show set. Oh and guess what? Heartthrob Baptise Giabiconi were also part of the show. Model Bella Hadid also made her Chanel runway debut alongside other Chanel favourites, Lara Stone and Freja Beha Erichsen.

Show attendees were also treated to the premiere of the latest Chanel film, directed by Karl, Once and Forever, with Kristen Stewart stealing the show, with her portrayal of Coco Chanel. And in line with this entire cinema theme, was this adorable movie camera bag, that’s going to be a definite collector’s piece.

Come back right here tomorrow to watch the entire short film Once and Forever starring Kristen Stewart! 😉
