The Verdict: Whether colour-blocked or solid, big or small, and squarish or rectangular, the key shape for Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2012-13 collection seems to the saddle-esque sling bag with a 2-button front pocket detail that comes with a super thick shoulder strap. And for those kinds of sizes, they definitely don’t warrant a shoulder strap which is so wide. Because of its design, it looks rather top heavy and off-balance. On the other hand, although I find the portfolios rather chic, they only redeemed the Fall/Winter 2012-13 bags just a wee bit. In short, a total Balenciaga fangirl I may be, but I am rather underwhelmed by the Fall/Winter 2012-13 collection.
