Salvatore Ferragamo Unveils New Location For FW19 Show
Salvatore Ferragamo has unveiled a new venue for its upcoming Fall/Winter 19 show during Milan Fashion Week, on February 23. After showing at Palazzo Mezzanotte for the past 12 years, Ferragamo, under fresh creative direction, will be moving its show to the prestigious Rotonda della Besana, a late Baroque complex that dates back to the 18th Century. With a church at its centre, dedicated to San Michele, it has , since 2014, become the Museo dei Bambini Milano (MUBA), the Milan Children’s Museum.
Rotonda della Besana struck us with the profound intimacy it instils. We were looking for a space with a more classic, historical connotation, but at the same time representing a dynamic point of reference for the city. Its circular structure speaks to the feeling of inclusivity and togetherness that perfectly aligns with our core values ~ Women’s Creative Director, Paul Andrew ~
