Prada To Supply Masks and Protective Gear For the Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic
It’s no secret that almost every country globally has insufficient equipment and personal protective equipment in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. At the request from the Tuscany region, Prada has joined in and pledged their support for the Coronavirus.
On March 18th, the Italian luxury fashion house began the production of 80,000 medical overalls and personal protective equipment and 110,000 masks for medical for frontliners in support of COVID-19. The Prada factory in Montone (Perugia) has stayed open during this global emergency specifically for this purpose, to work on fulfilling production for these items, which provides for daily deliveries, which will be completed by April 6th.
