After taking over the creative helm at Céline as Phoebe Philo’s successor, the fashion world is waiting in anticipation for Hedi Slimane‘s debut collection for the Maison. But guess what, thanks to Lady Gaga, we got a glimpse of Slimane’s first handbag for Céline during her trip to the Louvre in Paris. Slung in her arm, was a black leather top handle bag, which we haven’t yet seen.

According to the Business of Fashion it is indeed his first design for Céline. The bag is set to make its runway debut as part of his inaugural collection for the brand during Paris Fashion Week this month. Our dear Mother Monster has always been a huge supporter and close friend of Slimane – she was the first to wear his collection for Saint Laurent in 2012 a week after the runway show. In 2016, she also was the first to wear a gold sequin minidress from Silmane’s final couture collection for Saint Laurent.
