Newsflash: Diane von Furstenberg Launches Her Memoir
Diane von Furstenberg, the woman who created the wrap dress which remains relevant to this day, has launched a memoir, entitled “The Woman I Wanted To Be”. From real-life European princess (I kid you not!), to fashion designer, philanthropist, wife, mother, grandmother, and President of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), she bares her soul in this telling life story.
Divided into 2 sections, “The Woman I Am” which spills intimate details of her life, to “The Business of Fashion” which, itself is self-explanatory section on her career. Published by Simon and Schuster, its debut is set for 28th October. The Malaysia release is to be announced, but its retail price is set at RM 110. Watch this space for further deets!
The follow-up tome to her iconic wrap dress entitled “The Journey of a Dress”, published by Rizzoli, will be released in November.
