Slightly over a week ago, Queen Victoria Beckham  posted photos on her Twitter account of her and King Karl at the 31 Rue Cambon, the home of Coco Chanel. These photos were part of an exclusive photo spread for French Elle.

What a brilliant idea indeed it was to have the shots photographed at the mirrored curved staircase! The stairs itself immediately contextualises the shoot for all of us because they have become synonymous with the House of Coco Chanel, where the late fashion designer herself, would spy on the audience in her salon  to gauge their reactions to her collections, especially after being featured in films like Coco Before Chanel and Coco Chanel.
