Dior Opens In KLCC!
Dior has opened its second women’s boutique on the ground floor of Suria KLCC, opposite Tiffany & Co and Louis Vuitton.
Taking inspiration from the Avenue Montaigne flagship boutique in Paris, the new boutique houses women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, and handbags, which are conceptually organised in the form of several spaces, with the feel of a Parisian apartment.
Upon entry, you’d see the shoe salon on the left, and the tiled LCD display of a moving waterfall in the foreground, against a backdrop of roses; a sensorial video installation evoking an air of serenity, specifically created by the artist Oyoram for the store.
Head slightly to the right of the entrance, and the right side of the boutique is flanked by Dior’s iconic handbags like the Diorever, Lady Dior, and Diorama in both their classic and seasonal variations. And on the opposite wall, you’d find accessories, including eyewear, fashion jewellery, and small leather goods.
Walk further into the store past the handbags, and you’d be greeted by the stunning Ready-to-Wear pieces. Specially curated pieces from several prominent international artists can also be found all over the store. Of particular importance, is this Hurricane Mirror by Fredrikson Stallard, along with a Cityscape Credenza by American artist Paul Evans and a stool by Thierry Lemaire.
And here, we have the VIP salon, with lush furnishings. This area has sliding doors which can be shut, for a more private experience.
Now that you’ve seen the amazing boutique, stay tuned for tomorrow’s blogpost to see what went down with my Day With Dior! Oh, and I’ll also be showing you some of my favourite pieces tomorrow! 😉
