Bottega Veneta’s SS18 Art of Collaboration Digital Ad Campaign

Bottega Veneta goes digital with its first ever digital-first Art of Collaboration advertising campaign. Developed in collaboration with renowned agency Baron & Baron, the Spring/Summer 2018 campaign, entitled Reflections, is an anthology of cinematic films that takes inspiration from the brand’s core values: Mystery, Sophistication, Architecture, Sensuality, and Surrealism.  These films will be released throughout the season, alongside a print ad campaign, that utilises the replication of print photographs to mirror these cinematic technique to evoke a sense motion suggestive of the moving image, made possible by the films’ cinematographer Phillippe Le Sourd.

So what makes this a digital campaign? Well, that’s because it’s optimised for digital and mobile consumption, providing a constant stream of new insights to the brand’s history, story, and DNA.

What was important to us was to tell the Bottega Veneta story through the most narrative medium available today: film; to not dilute the message and to have all other points of communication naturally derive from the film. … Ultimately, we wanted to develop a unique visual vocabulary that would reflect the breadth of such a luxury brand – Director, Fabien Baron

Now, here are the first 2 films, Miraggio, and 199.6 MHz.

Stay tuned for the rest of the episodes! I’ll keep you lovelies posted when they’re released!
