Salvatore Ferragamo’s Rainbow Holiday Campaign
This Holiday season marks the 80th Anniversary of the iconic Rainbow wedge Salvatore Ferragamo designed in 1938, for Judy Garland. The result? Rainbow Holiday, a collection of yup, you guessed it, multicoloured rainbow stripes of calfskin printed leather complemented by the signature Vara bow detail, designed in 1978 by Fiamma Ferragamo. Comprising an array of leather goods and shoes, the Holiday collection includes the Vara Rainbow Bag, the Vara block heel pump, as well as an exclusive silk pattern, inspired by an archival print from the 1990s, which also appears on the new Varina platform. You’d also find these primary colours of the rainbow in solid yellow, blue, or red lipstick on patent leather. Colourful rainbows aside, you’d also find black-and-white combinations of accessories juxtaposed against all that vibrance.
Stay tuned for a closer look at the rainbow goodness soon, because they certainly deserve a post of their own! 😉
