Prada’s Resort 2018 Ad Campaign
Entitled Perspectives, Prada’s Resort 2018 Advertising Campaign, is the latest of the 365 unveiling of the Resort collection. Shot by Willy Vanderperre at the Osservatorio (translation: observatory) above the 19th century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, the campaign stars Kris Grikaite. Aptly titled Perspectives, the campaign captures the juxtaposition between sportswear and the Belle Époque era as shifts in perspectives and reinventions of horizons occur. The campaign aims to encapsulate a modern vision of Modernism, if you will, as the new season focuses on recollections of the past and fuses this with a perception of the future, thus resulting in entirely new perspectives of the present.
And about this bunny print Cahier bag, I’ve said it before, and seeing it up close, I’ll say it again, this really reminds me of Prada’s Fairytale illustrated bags from Spring/Summer 2008. Thoughts?
