And all you Korean drama/K-pop, or rather, Korean-everything-in-general fans would be fans would be delighted with this news (and I know there are quite a number of you, fellow blog readers, who fall into this category)… Korean actress Gianna Jun has just been announced as the face of Gucci’s upcoming advertising campaign for accessories featuring eyewear, watches, and jewellery.

 The campaign was just shot over the weekend in London by Solve Sundsbo. Above, Gianna wears a Cruise 2015 double-breasted trench in Chamomile, Gucci Bamboo Daily Large top handle in black leather, Diamantissima Horsebit sunglasses, Horsebit rings in 18 karat while gold and diamonds, and an exclusive precious stainless steel watch from the Horsebit Watch collection featuring Gucci’s signature horsebit motif with 92 diamonds on the white mother-of-pearl dial,

Creative Director Frida Giannini handpicked the Korean starlet as the face of the latest upcoming campaign because “Gianna Jun has just the type of natural
beauty and sensual sophistication that is perfect for a Gucci woman. Her contemporary femininity is
well suited to our accessories, which she will bring to life in this new campaign.”

Gianna Jun is expresses her delight on this Gucci collab because she has “always loved her collections and the style of the House.” 

The worldwide launch of the campaign is set for January 2015!
